Help look after the Hauraki Gulf

Welcome aboard our conservation campaign!

There's plenty to love about Auckland's awesome island treasures.

From soaring sea birds and pōhutukawa blossom, to ancient tuatara and cheeky takahē - there's always something living on or around our Hauraki Gulf islands that can melt the coldest heart or lift the bluest mood.

Our Treasure islands campaign is designed to ensure we all play our part to guard our special places from the threat of pests, so they can bring joy, curiosity and a sense of wonder to big and small, young and old, seafarers and land lubbers alike.

It's important to set sail on our conservation journey with everyone on board doing the right thing, so we're making the trip really easy, no matter who you are or where you're from. Thank you for helping us.

Please check for stowaways and report any pest sightings to 0800 DOC HOT (0800 362 468). View more information on how you can help keep pests off these islands.
